Melissa Lozoff has been a professional actress working in film, television, and theater for over 25 years. Melissa grew up in a small farming community in Alberta, Canada. Right after high school graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She spent 10 years in L.A. studying and working as a professional actress. L.A. credits include Jacqui in the prime-time CBS special, Jacqui™s Dilemma, Kim Goldman on E!-Entertainment™s O.J.™s Civil, roles on Days of Our lives and Young and The Restless, independent films, music videos and numerous commercials. Melissa moved to North Carolina in 1999 to be closer to family. However, she continued her acting career and now works consistently in the South East. She is the host of the PBS series Baby Makes Three. Other credits include Pamela Schutt in Unbridled, Dot in the feature film Coming Through The Rye, Cara™s Mother in the feature film The Taking of Deborah Logan, Jeanna in the feature film Redemption of the Commons, guest starring on The Inspectors,  Army Wives, One Tree Hill, starring roles in Independent films, numerous commercials, music videos, industrials, and voice-overs. Over the years, Melissa has been nominated for three best actress awards, winning two! Melissa has also been active in local theater as a member of Ghost and Spice Productions for 10 years. Theater credits include starring roles in Love Letters, Oleanna, One for the Road, Agnes of God, and Prelude To A Kiss. Melissa received Best Supporting Performance recognition by The Independent Weekly for her role in The Miss Firecracker Contest. Recently Melissa was hired to produce and direct the web series Helen Sweetheart of the Internet. The pilot episode was very successful and Melissa was hired to direct the next 12 episodes. Melissa Lozoff has been very fortunate over the years to pursue her dreams, and as Joseph Campbell says, follow her bliss. She encourages others to work hard and pursue their dreams.

Spring 2016Coming Through The Rye, a film by Emmy award winning director Jim Sadwith, premieres at several prestigious film festivals. Melissa plays the wonderful and silly Dot.
